In My Mind She Sways

In my mind she sways
Dances back and forth in between neuron transmittors.
Rapid fire thought, day-dream believer, hippie, lover.
She tastes the rain like good tea,
feels the rain like thunder in the vein.
Second-hand life, worn out couches, strife.
Two wrongs never did make a right &
bombs never did have sight
so she wandered out
& left her light on
but they couldn't follow,
the sky wasn't clear.
Your nights reign supreme
& your summer sky's are black,
in my mind she sways
in my mind she's back
and that's the only place she'll stay
